Pre-Course Connection

Prior to AMP, participants connect with each other via IICA Learning Management System (LMS) and WhatsApp Group to form a learning community. The idea is to help participants prepare for the 12-month experience and learn about each other’s background, objectives and projects/assignments

Module 1 - Business Strategy in VUCA Times

The module focusses upon the agility and strategic approach needed by new age business leaders in the present VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) business environment where disruption has become a norm.

Module 2 - Financial Reporting

The working understanding of finance is a necessary precondition for a leadership role. The communication of financial information to external and internal stakeholders in a true and fair manner ensuring compliances, sustainability and growth is the focus area of this module.

Module 3 - Corporate Finance

The module aims to augment strategic financial decision-making related to capital structure and capital budgeting with the aim of maximising returns for the shareholders.

Module 4 - Business and Financial Laws

This module provides the learners an understanding of the legal ecosystem in which the organisations have to survive and thrive focusing upon business and financial laws.

Module 5- Sustainability and Social Dimensions of Business

Modern organisations are increasingly focused on achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and integrating sustainable practices in everyday operations. The module prepares the participants with key concepts of sustainability, ESG and CSR.

Module 6 Corporate Insolvency and Turnaround Management

The module exposes learners to the theory, practice and experience of business facing financial distress and enables them for proactive strategic interventions to identify and address underlying issues, revitalise operations, and position their organisations for long-term success.

Module 7 - Business Valuation and M&A

The importance of transparent and reliable valuations is becoming increasingly important in present interconnected world. The module will give an overview of valuation and M&A to the participants.

Module 8 - Competition and Market Regulation

The participants will be exposed to the policies and laws imposed by the Government and regulatory bodies relevant for business organisations for ensuring a level-playing field, protect consumer interest and encourage innovation and competition

Module 9 - Design Thinking and Innovation

The module will focus on leveraging design thinking principles and innovative problem-solving tools by participants to address business challenges and guide their organisation’s strategy.

Module 10 - Start-up Ecosystem

This module aims at providing participants a 360 degree understanding of the start-up ecosystem enabling them to pursue their entrepreneurial endeavours or take a leadership role in a start-up company.

Module 11 - Corporate Governance

The objective of this module is to impart a critical understanding of the structure, objectives and mechanisms of corporate governance, and the legal and other issues affecting systems by which organisations are directed and controlled.

Module 12 - Negotiation and Communication

This module is intended to prepare participants to communicate and negotiate effectively for achieving specific objectives with a given audience in a specific situation.

Module 13 - Managing across Cultures

The module will explore how culture affects business and will develop critical capability of participants in understanding and analysing cross cultural scenarios.

Module 14 - Corporate Reputation and Management

This module will focus on contemporary communication issues faced by organisations today and will develop knowledge and skills to manage reputation. Techniques for dealing with crisis communication and associated reputation management strategies will also be covered.

Module 15 - Toolkit for New Age Business Leaders

The module focusses on the new competencies needed as part of present leadership toolkit like storytelling, financial modelling, social media management, creating personal brand etc.

What are the benefits of the course?

How to Apply?

Is there any financial aid or scholarship for the course?

A. Sorry, we do not offer scholarships for our Executive Education programs Applicant have to look at their personal financial sources from personal loans and aid from their companies and departments

Is the course entirely online?

No. There are two 1-week campus immersions as an integral part of the programme providing opportunities for networking with peer learners and faculty/experts.

Is the in-person teaching component compulsory?

Not compulsory, but highly recommended as it is meant for Interaction with co-participants and the faculties and to form a strong academic and professional network among the participants

What would be the time schedule for online classes?

The online classes shall be scheduled during late evening on weekdays or over weekends to make it convenient for working executives. Masterclass (especially with an Expert speaker) may take place at any time, subject to the availability of the expert and the time zone.

What differentiates the IICA AMP-CA from other AMPs?

A. There are many reputable AMPs in the marketplace. But our AMP-CA is A Unique Blended Online Advanced Management Programme in Corporate Affairs with following three key differentiators:
1) Our intentionally small cohort size (no more than 30 participants) ensures plenty of two-way dialogue between participants and our faculty, and an opportunity to network and bond with all fellow Participants.
2) IICA motto is Reform, perform and transform the Indian corporate sector and we believe the key to learning is the fusion of academic knowledge with practical purpose. Our experiential approach to learning combines frameworks (based on rigorous research), examples (relevant case studies, industry visits, expert panel discussions) and application (exercises, simulations, projects).

Can I pay course fee in instalments?

Yes. Individual participants can pay the fee in three instalments. First instalment will be paid at the time of registration i.e., 40%. Second instalment will be paid after completion of Term-I and before commencement of Term-II and third instalment will be paid after completion of Term-II and before commencement of Term-III.

What would be the ratio of paying fee in instalments?

A. The ratio of paying fee in instalment’s is 40% i.e., first instalment, 30% i.e., second instalment and 30 % i.e., third or last instalment.

Do you have any refund policy?

No.

Is the course open for International participants?

Yes. The course is open to international participants since most of the delivery is online. For in-person teaching component, flexibility may be given to international participants, on case to case basis.

Yes. The course fee includes boarding/lodging during in-person teaching component on twin-sharing basis.

The Maximum Participants capacity of the program?

There are limited (30) seats available on First Come, First Serve basis.

Is an advanced degree required for the course? Is a bachelor degree required?

A bachelor degree is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is recommended, however we do make exceptions for executives with sufficiently significant work experiences that are equivalent to a MBA”.

What documents need to be submitted before registering for programme?

Applicants registering need to submit scanned copy PAN Card, Aadhaar Card and the provisional mark sheet of graduation and a proof copy of Professional experience. After scrutinization of documents, applicant shall receive confirmation email from IICA.

Do I need to attend the entire program?

Yes. It’s OK if you occasionally need to step away for an hour for an important meeting, but you are expected to be present and fully engaged during the entire program (no multi-tasking on your phone or laptop).
