Ease of Doing Business

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, through IICA, successfully conducted National stakeholder consultations on Ease of Doing Business in Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru, engaging over 320 professionals. The discussions focused on simplifying corporate compliance, enhancing digital governance, and strengthening MCA21. Stakeholder recommendations will support ongoing reforms aimed at creating a more efficient and business-friendly regulatory framework in India.

Training Program on Companies Act

IICA conducted a one-week specialised training programme (2–6 February 2026) for 21 IES and ITS officers at its IMT Manesar campus. The programme focused on the Companies Act, Competition Law, and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, with emphasis on corporate governance, regulation, and policy implementation. The programme commenced with a course overview by Sudhaker Shukla, Head - CIB and was inaugurated by the Director General & CEO, IICA.

IICA acquires land for NE Campus

On June 2, 2025, the IICA, under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, took a landmark step toward inclusive national development by formally acquiring a five-acre land parcel in New Shillong Township, Meghalaya, for its first regional campus. This pivotal move signifies IICA’s expansion into the North East and highlights its continued commitment to promoting corporate governance, sustainability, and regional capacity building.
