The main objective of this complimentary event was to highlight the importance of performance evaluation of Board and management from the point of view of Corporate Governance and to ensure ethical practices regarded as benchmark in different jurisdictions around the world.

Mr Durgesh Pandey is a forensic accounting expert and has more than a decade of experience in this field. He took expert sessions on Avoidable transactions under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code.

Mr Sanjeev Pandey is the DGM at State Bank of India and has a rich experience in the banking industry. He took a workshop on the topic of “meetings of Committee of Creditors” for the students of GIP.

Mr Debanshu Mukherjee is the co-founder of Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, which has provided multiple policy recommendations to the Government on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. He took an expert session on the Cross Border Insolvency Report.

Mr. Sachin Jain shared practical insights of drafting of various legal documents under the IBC. Filing of various applications under the IBC is one of the most crucial areas under the framework of IBC.

Ms Bhawana Dhawan took multiple sessions on covering various topics like emotional intelligence, transparency and adaptability, time management and planning for success, topics which are important for insolvency professionals. Ms Bhawna is an experienced HR professional and works as Head HR at Pladis Global.

Graduate Insolvency Programme, in association with EY, has organised an Expert Session on Corporate Turnaround to apprise the students on the practical aspects of turnarounds and restructuring.

The session was conducted jointly by Bharat Gupta and Pulkit Gupta, both of whom are Partners at the Turnaround and Restructuring division of EY.
