Ms. Mamta Kohli, Senior Social Development Advisor, British High Commission visited IICA on 1st April, 2022 to discuss further collaboration between British Council and IICA for some projects. She had very fruitful meeting with the DG & CEO, IICA.

Head, Knowledge Resource Centre visited Central University of Haryana, Mahendragrah, Harayana and met the Vice Chancellor-Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, HoD Dinesh K. Gupta, Dr. Ram Pandey and other faculty members and discussed on the academic collaboration between CuH and IICA. The delegation of CuH would be visiting IICA during the first week of May for further discussion with the faculty members and further course of Action.

The Head-KRC also had an interaction with the students and faculty members at CuH and discussed the areas of collaboration between IICA and the Department.

The Head-KRC has delivered online lectures during the month of April 2022.

1.    Violation of publication ethics, authorship and contributor ship

2.    Identification of publication misconduct, complaints and appeals.

These lectures are part of the pre-PhD course work for the students of IICA-Gurugram University. It was an interactive session. The student also visited the Knowledge Resource Centre and appreciated the resources subscribed by the KRC.

The KRC has subscribed to the Anti-Plagiarism Software Urkund, which is an easy to use, efficient and reliable plagiarism checker that lets you check uploaded documents for text similarities against millions of sources. A training session was scheduled on Thursday 28th April at 4.00 pm in a Hybrid mode along with the AI tool for academic and technical writing i.e. TRINKA.

The programme was attended by the PhD Students, Gurugram University, faculty members, ICLS officers and the GIP Students.
