Independent Director (ID) database (IDDB) is a great initiative by IICA. Pre-requisite for good corporate governance is a good composition of the board. A professionally qualified, experienced and trained member on board is definitely a differentiator for growth. The experience including registering as an Independent Director in IDDB website was really good, as it was made very simple. Existing and past directorship details come pre-filled, as it is linked with MCA and DIN portal. The training modules are in-depth, content-rich and supported by frequent webinars with the experts definitely help in improving the knowledge base and skills of Independent Directors. Overall, it is a great initiative by MCA and IICA and my experience have been excellent and it would go a long way to build competent ID capacity for the corporate world, and for good governance. Compliments to IICA and team for the excellent work and best wishes.

It's a pleasure to connect with you to share some thoughts on the IICA driven Proficiency Test and the approach towards it.
First of all let me confess that it was a fantastic experience in totality including the 42 Learning Modules, Mock Tests, online technology and the tech support team who were a phone call away and finally the Proficiency Test for which I prepared extensively as the passing is a steep 60 %!
The Questions are tricky and the options even trickier which is fine to test the basics and conceptual understanding however certain questions could be interpreted differently leading to perceived wrong answers by the software.
